Policies for Retreat Gulfside
Booking Policies
- Age Requirement: Guests must be at least 25 years old to book the property.
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking through our secure platform.
- Minimum Stay: A minimum stay of 3 nights is required, with seasonal variations.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Full refund for cancellations made 30 days before check-in.
- 50% refund for cancellations made 14 days before check-in.
- No refund for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In Time: 3:00 PM
- Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
House Rules
- No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property and on the lanai.
- No Pets: We maintain a pet-free environment for the comfort of all guests.
- Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect neighbors.
- Guest Limit: The property accommodates up to 10 guests. Only registered guests are allowed on the premises.
- No Events or Parties: Parties, large gatherings, or events are not permitted.
Pool & Spa Policies
- Heated Pool Option: Pool and spa heating are available for $40 per night. Heating operates daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- Safety:
- No lifeguard on duty.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- No glassware is allowed near the pool area.
EV Charging
We are pleased to offer ChargePoint EV charging at Retreat Gulfside for your convenience.
Equipment Provided:
- NACS Cable Adapter: Suitable for Tesla vehicles.
- Location: EV outlet is located on the right side inside the garage.
For Non-Tesla EVs:
- You will need to bring your own J1772 adapter.
Charging Rates:
- 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM: $0.45/kWh
- 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM: $0.74/kWh
How It Works:
- We will send a $50 deposit request via the Airbnb resolution center or applicable booking platform.
- Actual usage will be tracked using the ChargePoint app.
- If your usage is less than the deposit amount, we’ll issue a refund for the difference. If it exceeds the deposit, we’ll send a request for the additional amount.

Damage and Security
- Guests are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
- A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after the property is inspected post-checkout.
- Any missing items, excessive cleaning needs, or damage will result in additional charges.
General Policies
- WiFi Use: Complimentary WiFi is provided. Guests are asked to refrain from downloading illegal content.
- Parking: The property includes a 3-car garage and driveway parking. Street parking is not permitted.
- Trash and Recycling: Guests are responsible for placing trash in designated bins and following local recycling guidelines.
Accessibility and Safety
- The home has limited wheelchair accessibility.
- The property is equipped with exterior security cameras for safety. These cameras monitor the driveway, garage, pool and canal-side areas. No interior cameras are installed.
Local Area
- Guests must abide by local laws and neighborhood guidelines.
- Respect for the community and neighbors is expected at all times.
